My pseudonym is Confused Jackal Mage. I've found that keeping all my houserules straight is too difficult on a single computer, so this wiki exists to organize it all.
I'm a D&D addict with an eye toward tuning rules toward greater simplicity and fun. A single simple rule or small ruleset which can handle every situation a complicated ruleset allows, while simultaneously allowing novel and reasonable situations that the complex ruleset can't handle, is a good rule. Enabling player creativity while maintaining or even improving balance is the defining design goal for me.
These days I play Iron Heroes almost exclusively, but I still enjoy tinkering with plain D&D or Arcana Unearthed.
